Caroline works part-time at the institute and leads the sustainable development module on the MSc programme.

She came to IESD in 2007 to undertake a PhD investigating behaviour change communication associated with sustainable development, details of which can be found here.

She was previously a senior lecturer in public relations at UCE Birmingham (now Birmingham City University), where she was also awarded an MA in Media and Communication in 2000 and a post graduate teaching certificate in 2004.

She has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) since 1997 and is also presently a visiting lecturer for De Montfort University’s undergraduate and postgraduate public relations courses and also an external examiner of undergraduate public relations courses for the University of Wales.

Caroline's previous career included newspaper and radio journalism, in-house and freelance public relations work.
