MSc programme: Programme organisation

A variety of academic awards are available to suit students' needs. Each award has a different exit point from the programme.

To graduate with a masters degree (MSc) you must pass eight taught modules plus either:

an individual research project (MSc Climate Change and Sustainable Development and MSc Energy and Industrial Sustainability), or
a group design project (MSc Energy and Sustainable Building Design).

To graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma, either:

eight taught modules, or
any four taught modules plus a research project or design project.

To graduate with a Postgraduate Certificate:

any four taught modules.

University Institutional Credits can also be awarded for individual modules as part of a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.
